A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Almost useless. Message "Cannot connect to server". I'll stick to my card
1 ★Why do you need to be able to access and control my phone calls and my photos?! I'll NOT be using this app and instead will use the card directly and use the website as and when required
2 ★Not great. Live charging status doesn't work. UX pretty bad. No customer service options.
1 ★Not even connecting to server anymore. Completely useless and UI not updated in 3 years.
1 ★Totally useless, and a waste of time. Government have invested in infrastructure that is totally unusable with this app. The three times I've called to activate manually, it has not worked at all. Last time the lady on the phone got so fed up after trying 2 different chargers, hung up.... Nice. I don't use it often enough to justify the card, so alternative is basically no service. Great. Hackers spend great effort to cause this level of denial of service that's how bad my experience has been.
2 ★Great for finding charge points but so far 0% success activating any of those points with the app
1 ★Utterly appalling, barely functional. Use in emergency only really. Embarrassing in 2020. Getting worse. No stars.
1 ★This is the worst app I have ever had the misfortune to install. It is absolutely useless. It is difficult to navigate, only partial snippets of information is visible on the screen. there is no guidance on how I can use it to charge my car. The search function does not work as it cannot recognise postcodes or place names like Perth or Glasgow. I'd suggest the developers of the app have a good look at themselves and sort it, or otherwise consider a career change.
1 ★Card registration fails at the cv2 part. Won't therefore let me charge. Throws an error up if i try to add a phone number, and selecting your vehicle gives a white selection box with white text. you can just about see what you're selecting if you scroll up and down. Ultimately, it's not letting me charge my vehicle and that is the point of the app.
1 ★Possibly the worst app I've used. Login didn't work as it turns out it doesn't allow special characters (when website does). Activity doesn't show any charging activity, only some of what you've done in the app. UI is atrocious, most functions are merely links to webpages. Error whenever you check status on a charger that is charging (says 'charger no longer available' when CPS website showed it was actually charging). Asks for credit card details even though D/D already on file. Truly abysmal.
1 ★The app failed to allow me to register a card and eventually when I was forced to call the number (only to be told they're a messaging service and couldn't help) it did randomly decide to work. At this point, I could charge which was good but the app needs development and bringing up to date with 2018, not 1918, standards.
3 ★It appears to be ok but then you notice some missing features, can't stop charging with it so I have to emergency stop the rapid chargers to get my car free, could do with a stop charging function so I can remote stop my car charging at home. Why not use the NFC function of the phone so we don't need to have charge cards? It's a bit slow and could do with smarter communication between server and car so the app does not have to fetch data from the car every time.
