Orion DockMate™ is a separate mobile application that integrates with the Orion Vehicle Intelligence System (Orion VIS™) for freight by land, air, sea or rail. Orion DockMate™ is part of a full logistics supportability solution for dock staff that are responsible for loading straight trucks, trailers, and towed containers in conformance with Manifests for Less Than Load (LTL) and full container loading (such as Truckload TL).This app allows dock staff to electronically assign manifests with their associated truck, trailer, or container (the Load Vehicle). This association is then electronically passed to other Orion VIS™ modules, thus assuring real-time data updates and eliminating human input errors for operators using the Orion eLog ELD (Electronic Logging Device), Orion FreightMate™, Orion VIS Enterprise, and other connected modules.
