The goal of the We Belong app is to reward forward-thinking businesses that hire inclusively by giving consumers a quick, easy place to find them. We hope this will inspire all businesses to hire inclusively.We also hope the We Belong app will bolster the disability dollar — the buying power of people with disabilities and the lives they touch. People with disabilities are a significant force in the marketplace. Currently, the disability dollar represents nearly $645 million in annual consumer spending in the Edmonton area alone. The We Belong app gives businesses another way to tap into that buying power.
