Description

RxDroid is a simple medication reminder app. Apart from reminding you to take your meds, it will also keep track of your pill count, warning you to get a refill in time.

This app is free and open source, contains no ads, and requires only very limited permissions.

I'm a medical student and this app is a hobby of mine, so development can be slow at times!

How to install RxDroid APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download RxDroid APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (at.jclehner.rxdroid-v0.9.38-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

4 ★This seems to be a nice app that does what it should. I do have a problem where the refill reminder pops up multiple times a day, even after I've postponed it to the next day.

4 ★RxDroid is an excellent and easy to use medicine tracking app that I recommend for most people. Unfortunately for me, it no longer fits my requirements. I take 27 medicines in 45 doses split up in 6 dose schedules. There is no way for me to get around this any longer. RxDroid only allows 4 daily schedule doses which no longer meets my complex requirements.

1 ★Sometimes I can click on one check mark to say I took all my meds; other times I have to click twice on each med to achieve the same thing. Very annoying. Bug fix didn't work so far. In another week I'll be deleting the app.

5 ★Feature Requests: an new icon representing an eye dropper; and a clearer way to set up an hourly reminder

5 ★I have downloaded other reminder/ trackers which just left me frustrated. This is excellent. Thanks to the guy who devised it, it is simple to use, reminds me when it is due, and quickly adaptsTVto the irregular doses, i e twice weekly etc. It records every date, time and medication taken. My husband has just been in hospital and I am having to administer his medication. Between us we are taking 8 different drugs. This has been invaluable. Thanks again.

4 ★I'd rather use it with only a MB and no internet needed. I just need some medication every 8 hrs and some every 6hrs and it doesn't seem to allow me to specify exact times for different meds. Wish it did. Thanx Mr. developer for such a great little program.

5 ★This is a great and simple app. No distracting graphics, no ad spamming and a sleek interface. Also, the fact that it doesn't need 100 permissions makes this app truly awesome.

4 ★App is a great little reminder that doesn't require any special permissions whatsoever. Does what it says. If you miss doses, you'll get a notification in the navbar.
