Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

4 ★Generally a good app. Please create a dark theme for it.
5 ★It's nice, I can see my air quality at any time now
2 ★I have not found the way this app reports air quality to be useful. Additionally it over-notifies me. The way the elephant trunk waggles back and forth before settling is cute the first couple of times, but quickly becomes an annoyance. Additionally, the index doesn't seem to correspond to the widely published AQI-based indexes I was using from the web at the time I was running this app. And there's no subtext of exactly why the air quality is bad. I mainly got the app to get a read on how much forest fire smoke there was out there so I could decide if I should bike to work in the morning, and the app didn't really give me a good sense of that, whereas the air quality indexes I found on the web fingered that pretty well, and also told me that the poor quality was specifically the result of small particulates (aka smoke). The web ones were a lot less convenient to use though.
1 ★I used to like the attractive interface a lot until realising how inaccurate and misleading it can be. It gives impression of confidence to tell you on which street the air is better, which would be great if it worked. Unfortunately since I'm checking with my own device and compare to other aps I realised it can be orders of magnitude wrong and it does not say what the data is based on - as in the other aps, where you can see where the sensor is placed.
1 ★Last update ruined the app, it use to screen rotate, showing multiple locations with contrasting colors making it easy to read...ect, last update took all that way, many other apps are better then the way the current version, don't waste your time or device memory on this, and that is coming from someone who used the app daily for about 3 plus years.
5 ★Not perfect but about 10 times better than the 2nd best app of this type. Good interface. Actually tells you what things are. The real time map is great! Negs: The system for inputting locations is clunky. I think $2 a month to kill adds is a bit high. Back button takes one out of app without warning. Bottom line: Only app of this type I haven't uninstalled. 👍
1 ★They ruined the app. you can no longer zoom out into a global view. now you can only zoom out to a limited regional view. I used to use it all the time, now it is going to be uninstalled. too bad. good apps always seem to be unneccesarily changed and rendered useless. if you change back the zoom function as it was before the most recent update, I will be happy to change my review. for me, this is a deal breaker.
1 ★1 star for showing wrong maps. JK, Arunachal Pradesh are indian territories. Showing them as disputed shows your political agenda.
5 ★Most accurate of the three I've tried. Attractive, intuitive interface, with weather, pollen and pollutants all in one place. This morning the app notified me when air quality worsened. Nice. I'd happily pay a one-time $5.99 fee to get rid of ads (banner only, so far), but I won't pay a monthly fee.
1 ★Came from AirVisual after that stopped working after a year of use and this uses a less reliable, less detailed scale that's counterintuitive. Will not be able to rely on this. Yeah, just compared it's readings to Airlief and would NOT trust this very limited app and it's weird, backwards scale of measuring pollutants. Definitely not a good system they've made up. Uninstalling now and going to keep using Airlief with the standard PM measurement system.
5 ★Great app. It has everything you want to know. The design of the app is very nice. Although the premium price being a monthly subscription is kinda bothering me. Would rather have to pay one time even if the price was bigger.
5 ★It's very helpful, I recommend it.
