Barometer Plus app measures air pressure and altitude using your device's built-in barometric pressure sensor.Because air pressure changes usually indicate a weather change, you can use this app to monitor and predict short-term weather variations.
People suffering from migraine, headaches, or joint pain can monitor how barometric pressure impacts their mood.
Fishermen can monitor the atmospheric pressure for right-time fishing.
You can use the app for virtually all outdoor and indoor activities, such as climbing, trekking, hiking, and even stair climbing.
FEATURES:
• The app contains a barometer and altimeter with a personalization graphic in classic analog style. It also displays the current temperature and humidity.
• Display barometric pressure (sensor value) or mean sea level pressure (MSLP - value used in weather forecast services or stations).
• Units support for pressure: mb, inHg, kPa, atm, Torr, psi, hPa, mmHg. Units for altitude: meter, feet.
• Calibrate the barometer using altitude/location from the GPS. Calibrate the altimeter using the nearest airport information/METAR, or manually enter the QNH of the nearest airport. Offset sensor output value.
• Measure the height (building/mountain/hiked/climbed) using the "Relative Altitude" feature (can be enabled in the app's Settings).
• Notification about pressure change. "Notification custom rule" for you to define how and when the app sends notifications.
Notify when air pressure changes indicate that extreme or worse weather may occur.
• "Pressure Tracking" and "History Graph" for atmospheric barometer monitor.
• "My Area" allows you to define your frequent stay places, and the app tracks air pressure with location data.
• Export history to CSV format.
• This app is the digital version compared with an aneroid or mercury barometer and can be adjusted to MSLP with additional features.

5 ★Performance and interface are fantastic.
4 ★To have more features will be nice.
4 ★I like this a lot because I have osteoarthritis and I love the warning about the fast pressure drops. One problem I run into is that if you look at the hourly graph and then hit the back arrow button within the app, it completely exits the app - it won't take you back to the barometer screen. Also I've emailed the developers three times to ask what the yellow "marker needle" is for and have yet to hear back.
5 ★I'm still not sure about all I can do with this app, but so far it's been pretty on spot! It's prewarned me about changes in the weather and my pain levels have matched with the app. It helps me to get a jump on medication, hot water therapy, massage, instead of just getting hit out of the blue, or having to constantly watch the radar.
4 ★Very good. Had to make the adjustment to the local pressure. It's good for people who get seizures, joint pain, migraines and sinus headaches. It monitors the air pressure for what time you set it for ( 5 minutes to days ) so when the air pressure drops quickly it will send you an alert. Changes the PSI to milliebars for more precise reading. The temperature and humidity is pickup from my phone which is not correct because of my phone case.
5 ★Constantly keep getting prompted to purchase the app again and pay for adfree even though I've already purchased it. Please resolve this issue and I'll correct this 1 star review. I also agree with with other person (Lee a dorney) who gave you a 2 star review after we've payed for adfree and plus version, you release a platinum upgrade at and even more expensive price... Disappointing, your existing payed plus customers should have a way cheaper price upgrade option to platinum.
4 ★Excelent operation, does everything needed. The best imaginable. Design of the barometer face might be more attractive, though it is functionally OK. Calibration was a bit tricky, but finally successful. The only unsolved problem was recognition of the nearby airport, and usage of its barometric data, unlike Accurate Barometer which does that quite nicely.
4 ★Awesome Barometer! Would be nice if barometric pressure and height information integrated w/ gps elevation. Additional feature besides pressure graph would be an elevation graph. Would be really cool if the pressure data and elevation data could be crowd sourced and we could see the pressure waves with multiple locations. Possibly even agregated and sent to the US NWS (national weather service) One could see pressure changes possibly in 3 dimensions if enough phones were crould sourcing.
1 ★I'd say about 80% of the warnings that tell me bad weather may occur never happens. I don't see any way to change settings other than what I asked the app creator about and it still didn't help. Uninstalled UPDATED REPLY... I don't go farther than 10 miles from my house. The last msg I got from the app was something to do with an airport and I'm no where near one.
1 ★Not a cloud in the sky and app is warning of bad weather. Been beautiful all week, but you'd never know by looking at the app.

1 ★Update: Now this isn't working at all, it crashes with android 10 update! Not very accurate, it always days its raining. It's 87 degrees and sunny. I don't get it. I proud for the upgraded versions and it's still not any better.
