Formazione, Aggiornamento, Aggregazione è questo lo slogan del XXI Congresso della Società Italiana di Chirurgia Maxillo-Facciale.Il programma prevede una prima giornata dedicata alla formazione attraverso corsi teorico-pratici dove i discenti avranno l’opportunità di apprendere da vicino l’utilizzo di prodotti, strumentazioni e dispositivi.
La Società con il supporto di specialist formerà i partecipanti nei settori della navigazione e planning chirurgico, trattamento delle fratture di condilo, mezzi di osteosintesi riassorbibili, piezosurgery, impianti zigomatici, chirurgia implantare, osteosintesi in chirurgia ortognatica, endoscopia naso sinusale.
I corsi saranno selettivi e a numero chiuso cosi da garantire la qualità della formazione. Si passerà poi, nelle giornate successive, all’aggiornamento con sessioni di letture preordinate secondo i tre temi congressuali vale a dire Neoformazioni cistiche dei mascellari, Tumore della lingua e Chirurgia ortognatica, quest’ultima focalizzata su un aspetto di estrema attualità quale la Surgery first, chirurgia prima del trattamento ortodontico. Nelle tre giornate si avvicenderanno relatori sia nazionali che internazionali. L’obiettivo sarà quello di aggiornare i partecipanti sullo stato dell’arte dei tre argomenti anche attraverso la realizzazione di tre monografie.
Sempre nell’ambito dell’aggiornamento saranno previste comunicazioni libere, 15 masterclass, 4 corsi relativi a Chirurgia Orale, Disturbi dell’ATM, Medicina Orale e Medicina Estetica e tre simposi internazionali quali AO, IBRA e L’Italia al centro del Mediterraneo con esperti nazionali ed internazionali.
Infine il XXI Congresso Nazionale SICMF sarà un’occasione di aggregazione dove anche eventi come le Opinion Arena, la SICMF CUP, le letture “Non solo chirurgia maxillo-facciale” rappresenteranno un modo informale di aggiornamento per tutti ma con uno spirito aggregativo e leggero.
