The tour starts in Milan, crosses the Lodi countryside, touches the hills of San Colombano al Lambro, passes through a series of charming small towns before arriving in Lodi. The 'figulini' of Lodi, that is the ancient potters of the town, enjoyed a flourishing period at the beginning of the eighteenth century and today the town boasts the only certified pottery laboratory in Lombardy. Also famous are the precious jewellery items of the Graffignana jewellers and the wrought iron works of Sant'Angelo Lodigiano. All this coupled with a beautiful setting and superb hospitality of the locals who are always eager to welcome tourists during the numerous events that are held to promote the culture of their territory.
