It would be nice if you could follow and searchfor not only butterflies but areas as well. 3 ★Struggling to make sense of this App. Does not seem well designed. If you follow someone you then have to scroll through hundreds of photos to find other streams. Why can I not click through to streams I am following from my home page. Does not seem well thought out. A shame. Can't even put a photo of myself on the home page.

5 ★Absolutely amazing! Revolutionary app for lepidopterists or people just wanting to know what Moth or butterfly species that they have discovered! It is a bit buggy but I still give at an easy 5 star. By the way, my user is Alduck! EDIT: since my last review, lepsnap really has grown and improved and become less buggy. Now it is smooth, clean, and extremely useful, and also very nice to see other people's sightings! I truly recommend this to anyone who has a passion for lepidoptera or just want to know what species they have found! Easy 5 star!

2 ★Installed easily but crashed every time I opened it. Seems like a good idea but I couldn't try it for myself. Error report sent.

1 ★Claims to identify moths around the world, but in practice it seems to beNorth America centric. At any rate, completely failed on 3 commonUK/European species, offering only species not found in the UK. Total wasteof time. If you are going to offer an app that claims world coverage thenthe least you could do is filter your results based on the submitter'slocation, otherwise you are just wasting people's time.
