"Nusa Kuliner" merupakan pemetaan atas kurang lebih 1500 makanan dan minuman tradisional dari berbagai wilayah Kepulauan Indonesia yang dikumpulkan oleh Komunitas Sobat Budaya melalui Perpustakaan Digital Budaya Indonesia, www.budaya-indonesia.org.Pemetaan dilakukan secara komputasional dengan melihat kemiripan struktural dari bahan-bahan yang digunakan dalam penyejian makanan dan minuman tersebut. Hasilnya adalah kekerabatan makanan dan minuman dari berbagai daerah tersebut berdasarkan indikasi geo-ekologis bahan-bahan makanan. Melalui aplikasi ini, pengguna dapat melihat seberapa "jauh" atau "dekat" suatu makanan/minuman dari suatu daerah dengan makanan/minuman dari daerah yang lain. Pencarian makanan dapat dilakukan dengan nama makanan, asal daerah, dan bahan-bahan makanan yang digunakan.
Meskipun lebih dianjurkan menggunakan aplikasi ini untuk tablet dan gawai berlayar sentuh besar, aplikasi ini juga dapat dipasang pada handphone dan layar android kecil.

“Nusa Kuliner” is a mapping on more or less 1,500 traditional food and beverages from all over the Indonesian Archipelago as collected in the Open Digital Library of Indonesian Culture, www.budaya-indonesia.org
The mapping is delivered computationally by the structural similarities of the ingredients of each. The result is the mapping of the culinary kinships among Indonesian people based on geo-ecological indications of food and drink materials. Through this app, users can see how “far” and “close” a particular traditional food/beverages from one another with those from other localities in Indonesia. The search within the map is by the name of the food and beverages, the regions, and the ingredients used in serving them.
