Kempegowda Bus Station, aka Majestic Bus Station, is a large bus station in central Bangalore. It is located opposite the Bangalore City Railway StationThis bus station provides connectivity to almost all the areas of Bangalore. One side of the bus station is used for intra-city buses by the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC)
Majestic Bus station is divided into 30 platforms. As you might already know, Google Maps app will give you BMTC bus numbers to and from Majestic Bus Stand. But, Google Maps does not give you the platform numbers from which the BMTC bus starts.
Do you know? The combined length of all platforms in Majestic bus stand is about 2 kms. So if you don't know the platform where your BMTC bus stops, or if you know the platform number but don't know the where the platform is in the Majestic Bus station, you will end up in walking 2 kms in heavy rush!
