Description
There once was a young farmer and his wife who were very poor. Their crops were failing due to lack of rain and they had no way of earning money to live. They had no food and were beginning to starve. Then a fairy appeared before them and gave them a white goose that laid golden eggs that the couple could sell.They took their eggs to market and soon became rich. One day, the greedy couple decided to cut the goose open as they thought that if the bird laid a golden egg every day, then it must have lots of golden eggs in its stomach.
They took a big knife into the henhouse.....
