3 ★It no longer updates verses, and dev apparently doesn't support the app anymore, since (s)he doesn't respond to emails. I get the feeling the dev hasn't supported the app for a long time, actually. It's one of those poor, forgotten apps that has been allowed to fall into neglect, and now its condition is critical. That is truly a shame, as although the interface is a bit clunky and dated, it is a great app. It is an old friend which has been with me through many phone upgrades, and which the Lord has used to guide me though some difficult times. I will miss it very much. I was hoping it would eventually be updated. Not some major overhaul to give us a shiny new app, but just a bit of a loving makeover to make it more up to date and easier to use, while retaining everything that makes the app great.
3 ★The daily verse doesnt update automatically, have to trigger the verse of the day manually and can't share via text anymore. I have to swap back and forth between my text and the app to manually type the verse if I want to share it. When previously I could just hit the share button and chose the text,SMS... method...now when I try that it just spins indefinitely. PLEASE FIX IT.
1 ★Used this app for a long time and really liked it - until it stopped downloading a new verse. Sadly I had to find a replacement which I have not found but which I have replaced.
3 ★App is mostly good but now it does not refresh the daily Bible verse andyou have to go into settings to get the new verse to show everyday.
