A Semana de Ciência e Tecnologia (SCT) é o evento institucional da Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (Unesc) em comemoração à Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia, promovida pelo Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia, Inovações e Comunicações.A XI SCT acontece no período de 26 a 30 de outubro, na modalidade virtual e tem como temática “Inteligência Artificial: a Nova Fronteira da Ciência Brasileira”. A XI SCT objetiva fomentar a discussão do conhecimento e das experiências relacionadas a ciência, a tecnologia e a inovação por meio da inteligência artificial, as suas oportunidades e os seus desafios.
Durante a XI SCT são realizados o 20º Seminário de Iniciação Científica, o 12º Salão de Extensão, o 10º Salão de Ensino, o 6º Salão de Pós-Graduação, a 7a Feira de Inovação, o 7º Talento Musical, a 6a Feira de Ciências, o 5º UNESC Innovation Bootcamp, o 5º Workshop de Arqueologia, o 3º Ciclo de Palestras do Museu de Zoologia e a Jornada Empreendedora. O evento é composto por palestras, oficinas, minicursos e apresentações de trabalhos de pesquisa, extensão e relatos de ensino.
