4 ★I have enjoyed plague inc for about 5 years now. It is all around an amazing game. Recently, though, I've run into a bug that is very irritating. I'll be playing, any disease type or scenario, save and come back. When I come back, once I start killing it pretty much resets the disease. It will take 7 billion infected and become a good 70 thousand. Then everyone will die and I won't be able to win. I've tried stopping the death and just reinfecting, but the countries that were already infected before can't be reinfected for some reason. If this gets patched, then the app gets a definite 5 star rating. Thanks for reading.
2 ★I enjoyed it a lot, played through just about everything and had pretty much all the viruses unlocked. Then I stopped playing. When I picked it up again a year or more later, I have none of my purchases, non of my progress, and the restore purchases and restore progress functions don't do anything. Can't bring myself to start over.
5 ★I really enjoy this game, for all it's morbidity. The design is simple but the gameplay is challenging. It really makes you think. What might be cool is some historical context. That might be asking for much but given how diseases actually spread, this could be an extreme learning experience. One thing that is more UI feedback than anything would be the ability to toggle Country Info from the Infection Spread Info panel, just cuz some countries are too tiny to select.
1 ★The game is fine. Problem os, if you want to play at double-speed (the only real way to enjoy it), you have to allow the game to track your location, browsing history, etc. for targeted ads. Look, I understand the game is free, I'm fine getting ads. But I'm not giving that information away to a company i don't know just to play a dumb game like this. Especially when they bury the "no, thanks" button in tiny font in a color that is literally impossible to read. Really shady tactics.
3 ★Fun game, but it keeps crashing. I'm fine that things cost a bit if you want the full experience, and I'm happy there are minimal ads-gotta make money somehow. Concept is good, but I've been on and off playing for a few years. What I don't like is that now with the game, it'll crash every 10-20 minutes when I'm playing and only half the time save my progress. It's also hard to win for me, but that's mostly a personal problem and the challenge is nice. Could anyone help with the crashing problem?
5 ★It's a really great game with a unique concept! The interface, controls, and graphic are easy to use! Other than that, I'd like to suggest a more realistic approach or gameplay/mode since in the real world, people gave about a million births and deaths each day, and certain countries are highly developed and not as developed. And becuase of evolution and natural selection, maybe add something that makes it harder when humans mutate that becomes immune to your plague!
4 ★The game is great, all of the different plagues are unique (Shadow Plague is my favorite), I do have two issues however. The better UI is locked behind a paywall just so you can have a bar showing the percentage of infection, and the UI constantly breaks anyway (usually in text boxes, with words being cut off or missing, the News tab also tends to just not show anything, making it difficult if you are loading a save and don't know what scientists benefit from).
5 ★Challenging! Great, fun game! Had to play several times before I could beat it and advance, but I thought the difficulty was just right because I got very close a couple times. That made it more rewarding when I won. Winning unlocks some goodies that keep it interesting and replayable. Details are great. It appears a lot of effort went into this game. Bravo!
5 ★I really recommend this game. Along with either purchasing "full version" or scenarios (which includes full version). My only suggestion is to make it more clear that scenarios are the only thing that requires purchasing. I was under the impression that the special plagues had to be purchased but by reading online I saw they could be unlocked. So a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ game, but needs to express more clearly what needs to be purchased.
3 ★Good game concept, but buggy. Like others have stated, the disease will randomly be cured even when cure progress is well below 100%. Also, if there are deaths in a country via natural disaster prior to it being infected, it will be unable to be infected for some reason. I don't remember it being this buggy when I first played it a while ago. I ended up uninstalling it since the bugs have made it nigh impossible to play.
3 ★You don't seem to get any bubbles once you start killing people off, which makes it near impossible to beat the cure. Really makes it frustrating and unenjoyable once the cure starts, especially when playing on Brutal. And it takes sooo long to complete the game on Brutal, even with the fast forward speed. Maybe I'm just playing wrong, and yoy do get bubbles, but I'm really struggling to figure out how. Also the music stopped working. Even when I uninstalled and reinstalled it.
2 ★I used to love this game (over 6 years ago) I decided to redownload it and enjoyed myself for 2 or 3 games of casual to get back the feel of the game but little did I know it had other plans for when i decided to play on normal difficulty. the game crashes every single time I get a good start, it's like I know when I am not expecting it. hardware is not a problem I have a galaxy s9 and it runs other (more graphically and technically intense) games perfectly fine.
