Transcurría el año 1978, desde mucho antes había una visión amplia en el misionero Donaldo Moore, como técnico de radio pensó en San Luis para fundar una estación de Radio, luego de muchos intentos el misionero Donaldo logra una aprobación de HONDUTEL que en ese tiempo controlaba las frecuencias de radio; fue desde ese momento que surgió Radio Luz Y Vida, con el indicativo de llamada HRPC, por sus siglas:Honduras Radio Proclamando a Cristo
Iniciando labores en la frecuencia de AM 1600Khz y Onda Corta 3.250 Khz, luego 30 años más tarde se logro una nueva frecuencia en FM la 102.3 como una nueva Radio Emisora Denominada Radio Fe y Esperanza.Radio Luz Y Vida ha llevado bendición a muchos corazones, desde su fundación, con el único propósito de llevar la Palabra de esperanza en Cristo. Muchos hermanos y hermanas han sido participes de este Ministerio trabajando desde las cabinas de radio con programas que llevan el mensaje de Salvación, programas de complacencia, saludos e interacción con la audiencia. Radio Luz Y Vida es un ministerio perteneciente a la Asociación de Iglesia Emanuel en Honduras. Llevando el mensaje de salvación en Cristo desde el año de 1978.
