Description

The myrecovery app enables surgeons, doctors, rehabilitation specialists and other healthcare professionals to create digital treatment companions that are customised to each care pathway.

The aim of the app is to inform, support and empower you - every step of the way - with short videos highlighting key points for each stage; interactive exercise videos and self-care tools to help you set and track progress towards your treatment goals.

If you have been recommended the myrecovery app, please note that there are two different ways to register - either on the app itself or via an online form.

In many cases, you will receive an email with a link to the app and/or a text message with a unique 6-digit pin code to use to register for the app in a few quick steps.

In some cases, your surgeon or healthcare team may direct you to an online form where you enter a few relevant details to register for the right app pathway. Once you’ve registered, you will be ready to Log in to the app with your email address and chosen password.

We wish you a speedy recovery!

The Joint School App pathways are different from most other pathways in the app, as they are not made by or connected to a particular healthcare professional. The Joint School App is a free service, with general information and self-care tools for anyone awaiting or recovering from hip or knee replacement surgery. To register for the Joint School App, visit JointSchool.App

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★It was OK as a reminder of what exercises to do as I have so many but only 2* because it hasn't worked for a week now. It loads to 54% then if I'm lucky it closes but if I'm unlucky it sends my phone haywire and I have to force restart it.
5 ★The Myrecovery app is brilliant if you're waiting for surgery for your knee or hip, or recovering from surgery. There are regular videos from consultants giving advice on exercise , what to expect after the operation...There are videos with demonstrations of exercises so you don't just look at a piece of paper. This app has been invaluable to me as I should have a new knee last year and haven't heard from the consultant for 18 months so to have this it's kept me going.
1 ★constantly freezes or will not even open.
5 ★great place to go for surgery, everyone there was nice and extremely knowledgeable. Dr Steinfeld was excellent with the surgery and his after care.
5 ★Dr.Brent Anderson and staff is amazing. I had double knee replacement and they have checked on me weekly since Sept. 1 st. they encourage you and are there to answer all questions; I would do it all over again knowing I had such amazing support. Kristin has been so helpful. thank you Dr Brent Anderson and staff
3 ★After starting the timer, if the phone screensaver activates, the timer stops registering seconds until I log back into the phone.. long exercises with many reps that took 3-5 mins then appear to have taken only 1 min or less to complete
5 ★I think it's a really good idea, I feel it has helped me to prepare for my operation and had a really good idea of what was going to happen
5 ★Really helpful app. Well organised user interface. All information available inside app which could be useful for patients.
3 ★I had to Uninstall and reinstall. it wouldn't load.
2 ★For what appears to be a simple app, it takes an age to load, and most of the time it doesn't even finish loading; It just gets stuck. A decent app when it works.
5 ★This is a fantastic app. It's very helpful, easy to use and informative. You can personalised the program and learn lots about how to look after yourself.
5 ★Helpful videos and easy to use. Would be really nice if there was a community to ask other patients about their experiences but all in all great.
