Ibnu Rajab, ahli hadits madzhab Hambali yang salah satu bukunya saya terjemahkan menjadi, "Setahun Bersama Nabi" (diterbitkan Pustaka Hidayah, sekitar 1000 hlm.) menyebut Syekh sebagai teladan orang-orang ma'rifat, pemimpin para syekh dan dikaruniai maqam dan karomah. Imam Al-'Izz bin Abdussalam, ulama besar madzhab Syafi'i menyatakan,"Tidak ada karomah yang dinukil kepada kami secara mutawatir, kecuali karomahnya Syekh Abdul Qodir Jailani."Salah satu karomah Syekh yang paling menarik bagi saya adalah namanya terus disebut, didoakan, dan dibaca dalam tawasul sampai sekarang oleh jutaan umat Islam di berbagai belahan dunia.
