Description

App Ops is compatible with Lollipop!

App Ops is an activity, within the Settings app, that allows users to enable or disable operations on a per-app basis. These operations cover many common scenarios identified by permissions (e.g., read contacts, write contacts, access location), though it is not a pure one-to-one mapping.

Root required.

On Android 4.4.2, App Ops is removed. This app helps you to bring it back.

Otherwise, this app have a button to start stock App Ops on older Android version (4.3, 4.4)

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

1 ★Bottom ads (ok) but.. Then a full-screen ad appears when hit back button. Ugly. Also the app some times closes itself (1+2 rooted stock)

2 ★After giving root permissions nd clicked on INSTALL APPOPS ROOT nd reboot.. It again saying to install appops root.. What to do?? Its not installing on root!!
2 ★Install, reboot... and nothing installed. APK did not appear in /system/priv-app as mentioned by another review. I manage root with kingroot (permanently allowed access to you, no luck.)
2 ★Installer doesn't update apk to 2.0. Doesn't work for Android 5.0.2
3 ★I loved this when my devices were on kitkat. Now that one device is on lollipop, I can use this. It needs a search feature. Marshmallow has its own permissions, so that's fine.
