Greenify help you identify and put the misbehaving apps into hibernation when you are not actively using them, to stop them from lagging your device or leeching the battery, in a unique way! They can do nothing without explicit launch by you or other apps, while still preserving full functionality when running in foreground.

Greenify NEVER EVER collects your personal data despite the capability of accessibility service, it just takes advantage of it to automate the hibernation procedure.
IMPORTANT: Greenifying an app implies that you are aware that all the background functionality (service, periodic task, event receiver, alarm, widget update, push message) of this app will become out of service during the hibernation except when you are using this app.
NEVER greenify alarm clock apps, instant messaging apps unless you don't rely on them. Please do verify the impact of greenified apps on which you heavily rely.
Note: Greenify does need background running services for auto-hibernation to work. It is designed and implemented in extremely lightweight and nearly zero CPU and battery consumption.

DEVICE ADMIN: This app uses administrator privilege to turn off the screen immediately after automated hibernation on non-root devices. This permission will be requested explicitly for your consent only if required.
DRAW OVER OTHER APP: To dim the screen during automatic hibernation when the screen is expected to be off.
DISABLE SCREEN LOCK & BIND ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE: For automatic hibernation to work on non-root devices.
GET ACCOUNTS & WRITE SYNC SETTINGS: Control the account sync of apps if its sync task is too frequent.
This app uses Accessibility services, to automate the hibernation procedure.

NEW: Restrict the ability of selected app to run as foreground, to transform it to background-free. For non-root device, it requires Island with God mode activated. (Android 9+)Wake-up tracker and cut-off now works for apps in Island and compatible with Android 10.
App analyzer is improved with foreground service detection and other minor tweaks.
Fixed "Hibernate and Sleep" shortcut when only apps in Island are pending.
How to install Greenify APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Greenify APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

5 ★This app is so wonderful that i cant tell you super amazing all battery saving apps are totally fail infront of Greenify I dont review any app if i like it but i dont why i m giving review to greenify i think because it is superb Thanks for such an amazing app
1 ★Cannot get ADB commands to work on LG V20: VS995. Don't want features that are locked or basic feature that dont work as well. A Must uninstall.
1 ★Immediately after closing any app, if you try to greenify via the shortcut, it takes way longer than usual to close any app in the background. This is now happening in Android 10. It wasn't like this before in Android 9 or lower. Kindly fix this issue ASAP. Nokia 6.1, Android 10.
5 ★Works as described. However as mentioned by other reviewers, you don't need this app beyond android 8+. I am still using my redmi note 3 rooted, greenify works womderful allowing me to get good sot of about 6-7 hours and that's good for a 4 year old phone. ;)
2 ★I paid for the pro version and the xposed module options are not working. I had to use a hacked apk for these options to work!!!! NICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good job people. Oneplus 7 Pro, Oxygen Os 10 beta 13 (i've tested it with earlier STABLE versions too, same thing), ROOTED, Xposed ok, no other problems.
3 ★Works ..actually.But now it just sucks up too much ram..About 110mb..This app hardly used 30mb of ram before...I still use it once in a while because of its automatic hibernation :)
4 ★It's great for hibernating applications that are running in background and draining my battery, I just suggest to move the (-) button away from Z button, because sometimes I remove applications that I wanted to hibernate instead of hibernating them.

1 ★Not working properly, when i click to hibernate, it will just force stop all apps that running in background and after a few minutes it will reopen again and run in the background again
