Description
Tide Now Wear CA is a tide calculator for the state of California. It displays a tide graph, daily tide table, present tide status, and daylight/sun/moon timing.It is an app designed to run on a Wear OS Device. It is
an independent app, no cell phone is needed.
Three stacked displays accessed by up/down buttons shows the full detail available. A full set of tide data and sun and moon information is available.
Fast, Off Line Operation- app works by calculation. Use push button gestures next and prior day tides. There are no ads and app cannot access user data
The app opens to some preset station. It shows a tide table. You can move left or right
to go through dates. You move down to get the graph. You move down again to get the sun
and moon into. You can move left and right from any of these 3 displays to look ahead or behind.
Below the sun moon display, you can move down to the settings. On top there are two buttons, bright display and dark display. Below that there are two buttons, Statewide Location and Regional Location.
The app uses a two stage location process. There is a list of regions. Each region has a list of
stations. If you hit Statewide Location it will prompt you once for the region then once for the station. In these you have to scroll down to see the whole list. If you want to just load a station within the current region, just use the Regional Location button to skip the first part of the process.
Tide Regions and Stations. The app supports 146 locations organized into 14 regions.
The regions are organized by county or groups of counties.
