La app 112 Andalucía es una aplicación gratuita para smartphones creada por 112 Andalucía para optimizar la atención en caso de urgencias y emergencias, en el ámbito de la comunidad autónoma andaluza, gracias a la aplicación de las nuevas tecnologías.Con tan solo pulsar el botón 112, la app conecta directamente con el Centro de Coordinación de Emergencias y envía de forma simultánea (con la opción de ubicación activada) las coordenadas exactas de posicionamiento. De esta forma se agiliza la localización del incidente y los tiempos de respuesta.
La aplicación también permite enviar fotos de lo que está sucediendo, además de contar con todas las ventajas que ofrece el 112: atención multilingüe en las principales lenguas de la Unión Europea, notificaciones y consejos con información asociada en zonas con emergencia mayor en curso, etc, o el acceso con un solo gesto a todas las ayudas ante cualquier emergencia (sanitaria, extinción de incendios y salvamento, seguridad ciudadana y protección civil).
