Description

This app requires the Halo Band.

Amazon Halo measures your movement, sleep quality, body composition, and even the tone of your voice, to provide a more complete picture of your overall health and help you build better habits for life.

Key features:

ACTIVITY

• Informed by guidelines from the American Heart Association, Halo measures the intensity of your activity in addition to tracking steps and sedentary time. This means that working harder – for example, taking two stairs at a time, or going for a jog – helps you reach your weekly goals faster.

SLEEP

• Monitor the quality and quantity of your sleep, like how long it takes you to fall asleep, how much you wake up at night, and how long you spend in each sleep stage.

BODY COMPOSITION

• Halo's Body feature is nearly twice as accurate as leading at-home smart scales.
• Body uses your smartphone’s camera to determine your body fat percentage, a better indicator of health than weight or BMI alone.
• A personalized 3D model helps you track changes over time.

LABS

• Build healthier habits through 100+ labs developed by partners like Mayo Clinic, WW and Headspace.
• Simple, trackable experiments and challenges can help you see the impact that small changes can make on the way you feel – like whether meditating improves your focus, or if a pet-free bedroom improves your sleep quality.

TONE OF VOICE ANALYSIS

• Halo analyzes qualities of your voice throughout the day to help you understand how you may sound to others.
• Being more aware of your tone can help you keep your relationships strong at home, at work, and everywhere in between.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★So far I love everything about the halo band and app and everything it offers. I just hope it becomes more inclusive of different styles of attaining health and wellness in the future. I also hope there are more partnerships with other programs and/or apps in future. Ex: a partnership with a fasting tracker, and more nutrition related things. More gentle workouts like pilates, yoga, and dance. Things even those who are starting out with very bad health and habits can be motivated to try.
1 ★The Halo can't link up with any 3rd party apps outside of John Hancock Vitality and WW. Super inconvenient and makes the Halo mostly useless is you are hoping to use other fitness apps like My Fitness Pal, Noom, or anything else! Waste of money!!!
2 ★A beta pretty much. I've always been skeptical about the usefulness of fitness trackers and Halo confirms it. Pretty buggy activity tracking and terrible classification. Tone analysis is a gimmick that seems to randomly work whenever it feels like it. Subscription? For what? So I can watch exercise videos on my phone? Who even does that! The only cool feature is the body shape and fat tracking, but really limited. You would think it would be able to track body measurements but doesn't.
1 ★Would rate higher but it was a gift...seems as useful as a watch that does not tell time..at first However some features are cool, but still learning...body scan worked once.. Never again...fix and I may pay subscription...keep failing with no internet help on subject...it goes next to my fitbit in the bin...update body scan still won't work, now daylight savings time has mess up sleep tracking...you guys working on this? UPDATE back fell off, now vulnerable to water, scan still won't work. Junk
3 ★It is a great app and product. I am really loving the experience. The only thing bothering me is that I can't get the workout videos offline. There should be an option to download them as to not rely on cellular data while watching a 30 min video. Other than that, this is great
1 ★Update 6l15 Sleep tracking/analytics doesn't seem to be a priority. Clearly your product team did not consider all use cases when designing solutions around sleeplessness. Additionally, recent update is buggy. I lost over 6 miles of activity on Sunday due to a paring issue. Also attempting to review today's points breakdown causes Halo to crash.
1 ★From good to bad. Since November of last year the app has seen incremental enhancements, but the data sync has continued to degrade. As of this week my app will tell me that it has synced but I have no data for the past six days. Focus appears to be on pushing Labs and not on usability. Overall, a health and wellness band that can't track anything doesn't have any value. And an app that can't show you any insights is just as worthless.
2 ★Step counter is off, it's tracking way more steps than I'm taking. Also the tone setting doesn't pick up on tone of conversations well, or hardly tracks tone at all. I was really excited about the halo band but it's falling short. However it is great at tracking sleep
2 ★Have to reconnect a lot. Tone doesn't work correctly. It keeps saying speak louder. The sleep doesn't record like it should, it gives wrong timing. Tracking the workouts is okay but when you need to rest because of having pain it takes off points since you're not moving around. Body image scan finally worked after I kept calling in about it. I used my Fitbit on one arm and the Halo on the other. The Fitbit gave more of accurate reading..and it didn't even deduct points! Customer service no help
2 ★So far it has not read my sleep for 4 days... Troubleshooting did not help, nor did speaking to an Amazon Customer Service, he couldn't figure out the issue. . one of the Main reasons I got the band was for my sleep issue and I want to measure what was going on, after two different bands tried no sleep has been recorded. NOT SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS, THANK YOU.... *Edit* 6 days in and still no sleep data... Called for help and was told they know there is a problem and they are working on it.... SMH
3 ★Ok...not great. Have had this for several months. I only use the sleep analysis and activity monitoring. Not sure how much the tone thing has to do with fitness?! I do like the point tracking and it motivates me. But lately the sleep info has been off and the band is getting pretty dirty but to replace the band..$30....its more then 1/3 of the price of the entire halo. Fitbit can sell a packmof bands for $10. Why the markup ?
1 ★flaky and unpredictable randomly disconnects and will not reconnect until Bluetooth is turned off for at least 30 seconds. piss poor sleep tracking often showing times awake long after I have fallen asleep. difficult to charge past 80% will not do so unless repeatedly disconnected and reconnected to the charger. Lacks granularity in tracking and frequently does not track exercise properly. does not track blood oxygen levels. supplied band is uncomfortable and doesn't have enough stretch
