Changes of KGuard APPs on Google Play/ Apple Store

Dear Customers,

This is an announcement for a recent change to the KGuard APPs.
Starting from 2015/07/15 there will be limitation to some of the KGuard APPs on Google Play and Apple Store. This change will benefit the users in terms of searching and downloading the APPs, and will concentrate the overall managing quality.

APPs remaining on Google Play: KViewQR and KViewLink

APPs remaining on Apple Store: KViewQR, KViewLink and KView+

A list of all DVR/NVR models supported by KGuard APP is showing as follow:

Google Play:

1) Supported by KViewQR：NS401/801/1601、BR401/801/1601、NS421/821/1621、BR421/821/1621、EL421/821/1621、EL422/822/1622、EL423/823、EL427/827、TC401/801、QRT301/303、AR421/821/1621、MH410、MR400

2) Supported by KViewLink：EL431/831

Apple store：

Note: You can double-check the model name in your DVR MENU SYSTEM

The APPs that are not mentioned above, namely KSee/ KView/ KView HD/ New KView, will be staying on Google Play/ Apple Store until 2015/07/15, please download the APPs before the date if you prefer to use them. We will keep these APPs in separate links should you need them.

How to install KViewHD APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download KViewHD APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.kguard.KViewHD-v4.4.2.25-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

1 ★Works ok for long periods then crashes with message "kview hd has stopped working". Never works again until app is uninstalled and reinstalled. Unreliable. Asee is far better but only displays one camera at a time.

2 ★As developer myself I understand the difficulties here, but guys, this is extremely poor interface design. Compounded by lack of feedback if the system is not responding to the app, you can do better. And don't insult people with cut n paste replies to their comments, not very professional.

2 ★It has just stopped working and I can't get it started again. Really disappointed at the moment. Also I cannot view unless connected to my home WiFi,I hope this can be rectified.

4 ★Very useful works right out of the box so to speak. However the 16 camera view is not strictly true it is only possible to view 4 cameras at one time in any configuration. Please can you knock off the rough edges on this app and make it brilliant

2 ★Just installed the system, which is easy. The application work well, but after closing and reopening the application all my settings are either gone or corrupted

1 ★WE guys when this app is closed down. Ie samsung galaxy s4 open up running apps and close it down so it's not running in the background. All the camera settings are lost. This needs to be fixed as it is useless and very annoying having to re enter every time. Don't waste your time reply with a standard robotic reply, actually read the complaint a fix it.

5 ★Suddenly stopped showing live view whether at home or remotely. Contacted Kguard problem speedily resolved.

4 ★Great app. It would help if there could multiple users with different rights on the mobile platform (much the same way as pc user accounts)

1 ★never working like IOS app. I use same setting on the IOS that was working, but it won't work with Android. what's wrong with it. Am I have to buy iphone for use it as mobile app.
