Man muss nur die Augen offen halten...Zum 750-jährigen Jubliäum hat die Stadt Sindelfingen einen mobilen Gesteinsführer für Smartphones und Tablets herausgebracht. Er enthält Infos, Bilder und Koordinaten zu wichtigen Gesteinen und einen Gesteinsführer, der die wichtigsten Unterschiede und Merkmale erklärt.
Die Standorte der Steine werden in einer interaktiven Karte angezeigt und können mit dem GPS des Smartphones leicht gefunden werden. Die Karte ist zweigeteilt: über einem aktuellen Satellitenbild ist der originale Stadtplan von 1830 eingeblendet. Auf diese Weise sind sogar "GPS-Zeitreisen" in die alte Sindelfinger Altstadt von 1830 möglich...
