f.lux (preview, root-only) APK Download for Android

Description

f.lux removes the bright blue colors from your phone to help you wind down at night and returns your screen to normal the next day. This preview version is not a final release. It requires a rooted phone, and otherwise it will not do much. We appreciate your help with bug reports and feature questions.

Most rooted Lollipop and Marshmallow devices (5.x and 6.x) will work.
Some rooted Kitkat (4.x) devices will work, but many do not.

Known issues:
- Many Samsung Galaxy devices do not work
- Your screen will flash anytime an app is updated through Google Play

Also, if you want to uninstall, do one of these things:
- Disable f.lux before uninstalling
- Reboot after uninstalling

1 ★Doesn't work anymore. It used to work in my old oneplus one, but in the six it's dead. Sometimes it "flickers" when a notification pops up. But apart from that it's not working.

3 ★It would be cool if the app would allow me to manually add my location. unfortunately it does not work for me because I keep my location services off. maybe in future updates? :)

4 ★I think i found a solution to this app causing problems with Netflix. Just install swift black or dark substratum theme on Netflix then install flux it just work fine no flickering trust me.

3 ★color looks better then other apps, but one important feature is missing. I need schedule option. Cause I live in the place where sunsets and sunrises changes drastically through the year, but I trying to keep fixed bed schedule.

3 ★It works perfectly on my rooted Mtoto Z Play. But the lack of a toggle to On/Off f.lux instantly from the notification area is really very un-user freindly.

1 ★Used to not be root only, they need to have that option again. My phone had to be factory reset so I lost everything including this app

4 ★PSA: KNOW WHAT ROOTING ANDROID PHONES IS BEFORE SAYING THIS DOESN'T WORK. After rooting my phone, works as advertised, just like on my laptop. Sadly, requires rooting (getting system privileges) your Android device.

4 ★i love dark room mode its so much good .. i loved flux on PC and now in phone but there is a issue in dark maode it crashes .. when i put the setting on Qualcomm its not crashing

1 ★Root only so does not work for a huge amount of phone users, easily 97% are being excluded from this eye saving software.

1 ★it continuously roatated through errors. I tried reinstalling and the same thing happened again. I hope this gets fixed so I use it on my phone. I recently downloaded it for my laptop and I Love it.

5 ★Looks great, feels great. It would be nice if there is an icon on notifications bar to toggle dark room mode.
