Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★A great way to streamline your D&D campaign, a must have for DMs. Using a Vtt or around the table, I don't think I'll run another 5e game without it. Even if you are rolling bones in the same room, consider it for tracking Initiative. Imagine this, you call for Intiative, everyone presses a button and Combat can start in 2 seconds instead of 2 minutes. Might not sound like much, but anything that gets the action going quicker is a big win in my book. Also works great with Abovevtt, try it!
2 ★You're probably into D&D (why else would you be reading this), which means that you've probably invested a fair chunk of money into collecting various rule books, adventures, modules, and other source material. Now, you want to use this FREE app to be able to look stuff up, create character sheets, and roll virtual dice, right? This app would be fantastic (seriously, really good) for that, IF it wasn't necessary to buy ALL of your books AGAIN, spending MORE than you did the first time. RIP-OFF!
4 ★Update: app is much more responsive and works pretty well. I use to have everything in one place and it is nice to be able to share books with others. Fun app, when you can actually get it to start. Every time i start it i am staying at a "updating sources" message for 10 minutes before i can do anything in the app. How many times do i have to update in a freaking day?
4 ★Another way technology can add something to RPGs...the weapon/items, and spell creation is not easy if you are used to making up your own creations as they haven't implemented an easy way to make them work in game. For example; if you make a custom spell or weapon it won't trigger what you need it to trigger when you roll the online dice. Otherwise it is fun and quick to look up the traditional and canon materials. 🤘
3 ★Great app.. *BUT*, I'm frustrated that owning physical copies of the books doesn't count as owning the digital copies, nor towards a discount. I know it wasn't possible in the past because Beyond was owned or made by a different company, but now that Wizards owns it, they need to make each book come with a key to claim digital copies. Also, they make it WAY too hard to locate the option to buy individual races/classes in the store, probably as an attempt to "encourage" you to buy full books.
4 ★Very good app, with some flaws. The inability to edit or delete characters without selecting "View on website" is the biggest issue. You can only access this through a character sheet, no option on settings. The other issue of note is that writing in text fields can be troublesome, with words repeating or transcripting wrong. Final reminder, you get the content you pay for on their online store! Not an issue and you get the basic rules free, but with noting for non-paying users.
4 ★Great companion app for DnD. It is easy to create characters and campaigns. Has pretty much all the details you could possibly need, and if not those can easily be found on the website. Content sharing in a campaign is great. Only reason this is a 4: sometimes (for an unknown reason) it won't load spell lists or some other things for a bit, which is annoying mid-session. Those things are only temporary though, so a 4 is well deserved. Otherwise, I'd give it a 5/5, because not much else wrong.
4 ★Very decent app. It is a bit complicated to level up a character until you get used to it. One complaint I do have is you have a character sheet app version... and then one that is the web based version. The app version runs great, however one good thing about the web based version is that you can click on more areas and it bring up an explanation of what it is you clicked on. (Like clicking on acrobatics) if the app version did this as well, then it would be amazing.
4 ★While I don't approve of some of WotC's actions as of late, I still believe this to be a very convenient service. I was able to easily make a character sheet when I first got the app, with all the things I needed to help me start playing. Unfortunately though, my phone's been stuck on the Updating Sources screen for quite a bit to thw point where I might as well not bother with the app and instead go straight to the website.
4 ★This is an absolutely ESSENTIAL app for beginners, like myself. The resources and simplicity is a great way for new players to dive right in and play. As you get comfortable with the game and grow your character, you may be inclined to invest in physical di or the books, but you CAN simply do the same on here. The only flaw is that sometimes it takes forever to load character profiles. Naturally, not all spells or equipment is listed in the inventory of the free app.
4 ★Well, it definitely has super cool and convenient tools which work as top notch supplements to the D&D experience as a whole!.. HOWEVER, it'S highly inconvenient that I'm expected to purchase digital versions of physical books I already own. There needs to be a way to show proof of ownership of a physical copy, so that people don't have to waste money buying the same book twice. That is by far my biggest issue. Aside from that, it's awesome. It could really use a virtual tabletop too, though.
4 ★It is bare bones at the moment, but the design is very clean and much smoother to use between menus when using the mobile app versus the mobile website. Equipment can't be changed or moved around at the moment which is rough, especially with currency not being able to be edited at all. Regardless, I am happy to see the mobile app here and I can't wait to see the changes you all make.
