عن الكاتب:
مصطفى خليفة كاتب سوري ، درس الإخراج والفن في فرنسا، ليس لديه أية توجهات سياسية وتوجهاته كانت فنية بحتة، أمضى ثلاث عشرة سنة في السجن بتهمة الانتماء لجماعة الإخوان المسلمين التي واجهت النظام في ثمانينيات القرن الماضي، وهو صاحب رواية القوقعة.
تم اعتقاله في مطار دمشق في الثمانينات لدى عودته من باريس، حيث كان عازماً وشاحذاً همته على المشاركة في بناء وطنه والعيش في كنفه، إلا أن يد الأجهزة الأمنية طالته بسبب تقرير دُس فيه، وذكر فيه وقائع إحدى السهرات الباريسية والتي كان مصطفى خليفة أقحم في إحدى نقاشاتها السياسية ليدلو بدلوه ويتفوه بنكة سياسية تطال الرئيس الراحل وقتها حافظ الأسد الذي كان في أوج صراعه الشرس على التشبث في حكم سوريا.
هذا التقرير حكم على مصطفى خليفة مرهف الحس بالسجن في أعتى سجون العالم قسوة ثلاثة عشر عاماً، ذاق خلالها أنكى أنواع التنكيل والعذاب النفسي والجسدي والجنسي بسبب تقرير من زميل في فرنسا، وبسبب عدم اكتراث أي جهاز أمني في إعطائه أية قيمة للنظر في أمره أو السماح له بشرح موضوعه والتكلم إليهم.
خرج من السجن في أواخر التسعينيات لينصدم بالمجتمع في الخارج وليكون خرج من سجن صغير إلى سجن كبير. صدم بشدة عند خروجه من السجن بوفاة والديه اللذين كانا ينتظرانه في المطار قبل ثلاثة عشر سنة ولكنه لم يصل.
