The Kansas City Scout Traffic app provides commuters and travelers with mobile access to information for Kansas City metro area roadways from the Kansas City Scout's of Transportation's Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). The available information includes:

1) A zoomable, scrollable map-based display
2) Current trafﬁc conditions on Kansas City metro area’s freeways and major surface streets
3) Lists of accidents, road construction activities, and other hazards
4) Special events that affect trafﬁc (sports events, etc.)
5) Closed-circuit television (CCTV) traffic camera images
6) Electronic roadway sign messages

2 ★Ever since I upgraded my phone a year ago, there has been no update. I no longer have access to the menu to select what layers to show. I can no longer see the roads due to the camera icons obscuring the map. The app worked good on my Galaxy S3,but is about useless on my S5. Google maps and Waze are a better way to navigate traffic backups.

3 ★I am unable to download it. The error message keeps saying that the "package file is invalid." It would be a good app if it can be downloaded with out errors.

1 ★Downloaded this app because of the snow this morning. And there are only three incidents on the entire map, yet the TV stations are showing incidents, wrecks and slowdowns all over town. I'm deleting this app.

1 ★I can't really see accidents or other traffic snarls on the map with my phone(lg g2) the camera icons block the view and I cannot find a seeing to shut them off.

2 ★Downloaded it, opened the app. Immediately struck by its slowness to load, zoom, and scroll. Then I see a lack of features I expect such as traffic flow, and no configuration whatsoever. Immediately uninstalled and went back to Waze/Google.
