Sambutan Maulidur Rasul juga menzahirkan rasa kasih sayang kita kepada Rasullah s.a.w dengan amalan ibadah berselawat seperti Firman Allah s.w.t dalam surah Al=Ahzab ayat 56
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا
“Sesungguhnya Allah dan malaikat-malaikat-Nya berselawat untuk Nabi. Hai orang-orang yang beriman, berselawatlah kamu untuk Nabi dan ucapkanlah salam penghormatan kepadanya.”
Bersempena dengan sambutan Maulidur Rasul, saya menyeru kepada rakyat Malaysia khususnya umat Islam supaya bertekad dan bersatu hati untuk menolak ketidakadilan dan kemungkaran yang sedang berlaku dalam negara ini demi masa depan Malaysia yang lebih baik. Firman Allah dalam surah Al-Imran ayat 159.

“Kemudian apabila kamu telah membulatkan tekad, maka bertawakkallah kepada Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah menyukai orang-orang yang bertawakkal kepada-Nya.”
