How to install Show Lights APK on Android phone or tablet?

3 ★Once you find out that you need to plug in the light then start the app to get it to connect to the light things go fine. Note you need to make sure the app is completely off before starting it. My only complaint and reason for 3 stars is based on the box, I thought it would due the spectrum of rgb color and not just red green blue and white. Was hoping for green and yellow for my packers :( oh well. Better documentation would lead to better reviews.
1 ★2017 review: Same issues as everyone else. Won't connect, zero information online. ......EDIT: 2 years later and I've finally gotten it to work. The trick was turning on location, Bluetooth, then turning my phone off and on. Been nice if they'd say that or give ANY friggin info at all.
1 ★I have to RESTART my phone every single time I want to control it through the app! Come on guys .. You KNOW this is an issue. Just fix it already. I have tried manually pairing and it will pair sometimes, but won't communicate unless I restart. Ridiculous :( If you don't care to fix the app, then put out a remote with it next time.... If the name is not completely ruined by then.
1 ★Useless! It connected the first time I plugged it in, and only twice after that. Otherwise, totally non-responsive as it just doesn't connect. The app is shìt. Lowe's needs to recall this junk and refund us all!
1 ★REQUIRES location to be turned on and permission given to app. Turn it off and app won't connect to unit, even after installed and working. Don't like it as location not a requirement for BT. Turn it on, use the app to set lights, remove permission for location services and close app. You will have ro manually reactivate this permission each time to use app. This needs to be written out of app.
5 ★This app works great and smoothly! Not sure why so many people are saying it doesn't work. Just make sure your Bluetooth is on but no need to pair it! I had 0 problems getting it to work and the light responds with it instantly!
1 ★Very Disappointed Children!! Says it's linked but it's NOT! In spite of a strong wifi/bluetooth signal I was never able to access or control it. Like so many others I'm returning it to Lowes tomorrow. Gotta read those reviews PRIOR to purchasing poorly made products!

1 ★Just like everyone else said, no instructions to set up the Bluetooth, no Bluetooth to connect on my phone, and the light will not connect to anything. There's no control on the app to connect to Bluetooth. There is no item in my Bluetooth list to connect to. There was no instructions online to find out how to connect this light to Bluetooth. There is no mechanism on the light, button, Etc, to use to activate Bluetooth. If the light in fact does have Bluetooth, what a simple addition to the app to make it connect rather than lose thousands of sales because of lazy developers.
2 ★I have 2 lights. They connect randomly. And when they are connected, 1 will turn off and the other stays on. Annoying

5 ★The app works great. I don't know why people are having trouble. If it wasn't already plugged in before you launched the app you might have to close the app and reopen. It definitely works though.
