Мобильное приложение BioFarmer упрощает работу инспекторов, которые проводят проверку органической сельскохозяйтсвенной продукции и выдают сертификат. Данное мобильное приложение является частью системы автоматизации процесса сбора и управления информацией по органическому производству хлопка. Кроме него есть еще и административная панель, где управляющие могут получить аналитические отчеты и менеджеры провести мониторинг и оценку работы инспекторов.В настоящее время для ведения учета по сертифицированной органической сельскохозяйственной продукции заполняются две виды формы:
- ВК1: Информация, инспекция хозяйства фермера
- ВК2: Апробация хлопка
Проведение учета с использование бумажных форм для сбора информации и последующим вводом информации в электронную таблицу не только занимает много времени, но и сопряжено с возможными ошибками операторов при вводе информации. Также поиск необходимой информации и обработка имеющейся информации требуют большего времени, нежели использование автоматизированной системы. Кроме этого система позволяет нарисовать и показать в карте Google Maps границы полей фермеров.
