臺南市環境保護局發行之「臺南垃圾車APP」已安裝GPS衛星定位設備，提供民眾即時查詢清運點資訊、掌握所在位置空氣品質與最新消息、設定我的最愛與通知功能、聯絡清潔隊與其他功能(包含操作說明、回收站地圖網、常見問題、意見回饋、大型廢棄物清運)。基本功能介紹
★ 即時動態
點選任一清運點，透過展開的資訊頁上「車輛位置」查看垃圾車目前位置、「到站提醒」設定推播通知、「班表查詢」查看清運點的收運時段、「路線資訊」掌握清運路線表定清運時間及順序；亦提供三種查詢功能，包含「依關鍵字查詢」輸入搜尋目標地點、「依路線查詢」選定行政區與清運路線、「依時間查詢」設定清運時段。
★ 班表查詢
提供民眾查詢各清運點班表資訊，設定行政區、清運路線及清運時段條件後，提供符合條件之各清運點列表。
★ 我的最愛
於清運點資訊頁點選「加入我的最愛」，可快速查看已加入的常用清運點；亦可逐項刪除管理「我的最愛」列表。
★ 空氣品質訊息推播
設定需要收到推播的測站站點及通知星期，於早上九點至下午六點，當空氣品質為紅燈警示(AQI於151-200)時發送警示訊息。
★ 到站提醒通知設定
於清運點資訊頁點選「到站提醒」，設定到站提醒的通知星期或關閉提醒，可快速查看已加入的常用清運點，亦可逐項刪除管理「到站提醒」列表。
★ 聯絡清潔隊
提供民眾臺南市各區清潔隊的詳細聯絡資訊，可點選任一清潔隊之「撥打電話」或「定位導航」。
★ 其他功能
