Maulid Simtudduror merupakan kitab maulid karangan Al-Habib Ali Bin Muhammad Al-Habsyi. Kitab Maulid Simthudduror ini sering di baca di kalangan pondok pesantren atau pada perayaan maulid atau rutinan di malam jum'at.Maulid ini berisi syair-syair tentang kisah perjalanan hidup dan pujian kepada Rasulullah SAW dengan bahasa yang indah dan penuh makna. Al Habib Ali bin Muhammad Al Habsyi adalah seorang ulama besar dari Hadramaut, Tarim, Yaman yang lahir pada tahun 1259 H / 1839 M dan wafat pada tahun 1333 H / 1913 M. Di antara putera-putera beliau yang dikenal di Indonesia ialah puteranya yang bongsu; Al-Habib Alwi bin Ali Al-Habsyi yang merupakan pendiri Masjid “Riyadh” di kota Solo (Surakarta). Al-Habib Alwi bin Ali Al-Habsyi dikenal sebagai peribadi yang amat luhur budi pekertinya, lemah-lembut, sopan-santun, serta ramah-tamah terhadap siapa pun terutama kaum yang lemah, fakir miskin, yatim piatu dan sebagainya. Rumah kediamannya selalu terbuka bagi para tamu dari berbagai golongan dan tidak pernah sepi dari pengajian dan pertemuan-pertemuan keagamaan. Al-Habib Alwi bin Ali Al-Habsyi wafat di kota Palembang pada tanggal 20 Rabi’ul Awal 1373 H dan dimakamkan di kota Surakarta.
