دعای فرج، دعایی است که با عبارت «إلهی عَظُمَ البَلاء» آغاز می‌شود. این دعا برای اولین بار در کتاب کنوز النجاح شیخ طبرسی آمده و آثاری چون وسائل الشیعه (اثر شیخ حر عاملی) و جمال الاسبوع (اثر سید بن طاووس) نیز آن را نقل کرده‌اند.گفته شده دعای فرج را امام زمان به محمد بن احمد بن ابی‌لیث تعلیم داد که از ترس کشته‌شدن به کاظمین پناهنده شده بود. او با خواندن این دعا از مرگ رهایی یافت.
دعای فرج، جزء تعقیبات نماز امام زمان و جزء اعمال سرداب غیبت بیان شده است. این دعا در کتاب مفاتیح الجنان در بخش ادعیه آمده است.
نزد شیعیان ایران، دعای «أللهمَّ کُن لِولیکَ الحجة بنِ الحَسن» که دعایی برای سلامتی امام زمان (ع) است نیز به دعای فرج مشهور است.
