1 ★Recently, this app has become very hit and miss. Some days you can read the paper, next day the paper will not load. I have tried on two of my tablets with the same result.
1 ★The Advertiser app is terrible To access the print versions on the app you need to allow it full access to the data and photos on your device and supply your lock code when you install. What kind of an app is this? I don't access it for free, as I'm a full newspaper subscriber which pays for the paper delivery daily and would like to use the online version during the day on my lunch break at work.
1 ★What's the point of subscribing to a service that won't work. Try to read an article & it tells me it's for members only, try to log on & it just loops me through the same pages and still can't read the article. Your app is useless.
2 ★Hard to navigate and death notices not listed by name as in box in the paper, have to wade through listing of tributes by one with heaps of adverts? Where is the digital newspaper the one that looks like the paper? Is this another app? I am subscribed but can hardly find things, the layout is complicated. ....😏
1 ★Useless. Not one story on the front page was readable with out a paid subscription. So that was b. s. from the start. And $30/mth subscription fee for a story that will be on TV for free that night. I can wait. No wonder old world news companies are going under, if this is the business model that they follow.
1 ★I pay for this service, if I can use that word. Every now and then they do an update and my Andriod tablet won't let me have full access. App designers need to beta test better!!!
1 ★Unable to open any stories since the update. Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache etc but refuses to load any stories. I can read today's paper from within the app so at least that's something. Not impressed.
1 ★Would not download 31/1 Sunday Mail or 1/2 Advertiser. Tried three different devices.
2 ★Asks me to log in, again and again and again each time I am browsing. When you hit back button takes you to top of home page every time, painful and a time waste
3 ★Its good so far. Although I'm not a paying member,I still like to see the update on the news. Would like to see the some Dog Sports,like Agility, Flyball,Rally-O or Dancing with Dogs. More people have dogs in their household & more interested in these sports.
4 ★I love reading The Advertiser because it keeos me up to date local,interstate & overseas news. I would like to see more American & Canadian Ice Hockey results plus photos of players. I have been a big fan of Ice Hockey since 1987. Since then,my parents & I visited Canada for Halloween,Christmas & New Year holidays. Boy,what a seasonal change. It seens that living in the southern hemisphere is so much different living in the northern hemisphere.
1 ★Frustrating as does not work on Samsung tablet. Please fix the problem as it appears that many subscribers are complaining about the same problem.
