Description
Sistem BICY je brezplačen avtomatiziran sistem za izposojo mestnih koles, ki vključuje 76 koles na 16 izposojevalnih postajah v Velenju in Šoštanju. Zaradi velikega zanimanja za izposojo koles smo v preteklem letu sistem BICY nadgradili z dvema postajama, in sicer v KS Pesje (pri Gasilskem domu Pesje) ter pri Nakupovalnemu centru Velenjka.Sistem BICY omogoča izposojo kolesa do 14 ur na teden za uporabnika. V sistem so vključena kakovostna kolesa slovenskega proizvajalca KRPAN. Izposojeno kolo lahko vrnete na katerikoli postaji oziroma prostem stojalu sistema BICY. Sistem BICY je bil razvit lokalno, s strani zunanjega izvajalca - Šolskega centra Velenje.
V letu 2014 se je v sistem BICY vključila tudi Občina Šoštanj z 20 kolesi na štirih postajah. Šoštanjski sistem koles je kompatibilen velenjskemu in omogoča izposojo koles v Velenju in Šoštanju.
