5 ★Very good first experience! I used this app in Malta to use the scooters and the whole experience from registration to ending my first ride was seemless. Absolutely no bother at all as it should be!
1 ★1st gotocar chosen just didn`t start up,called to no avail,whilst still being charged.the state of the car wasn't the best.We tried another car and finally started our journey to Cirkewwa.there were only a couple of parking spots and keep in mind that it's a critical destination point of the island. We had to park far away from the terminal, and as a result, missed the ferry. We tried ending our trip for 15 minutes and had to call again,still charged for the wasted time.absolutely won't be back.
2 ★Not user friendly at all. The old app was much better. It showed parking spaces and available cars on the same screen, not having to switch between the two. Also the damage reporting on this new app is a nightmare. The last app has a clear list of what damage has already been reported, this one is overly complicated and fiddly. A huge step backwards
1 ★Do not use this company! They are misleading and they overcharge. On a round trip that was supposed to cost us 42€ for 7 hours, they charged me twice for 42€ and 60€. When I contacted customer service they told me that we clicked on a one way agreement instead of a two way agreement which is to return the car to the same location. We returned the car to the same location and the charge should have been 42€ but they charged us an extra 60€. They are not a cooperative or customer friendly company.
2 ★Good app with a few things driving me crazy... * Trip's timing records messed up, start/end showing the same time for different locations (bug). Sent feedback to Customer Service already, but they did not listen. Casual BS... ** Map view likes to forgot what to Show on Map, I don't need scooter parking spots every time I start the app... *** Regarding the new scooters, in civilised EU countries you can drive small mopeds like these with licence B, hence they teach you more how to drive!
1 ★After the last updates, I have been struggling to use this app. When I click to insert my pin to unlock the car, it simply closes. Same to login. Once I was doing a round trip and I needed to call the support more than 12 times to unlock my car. This day I was charged €67 for one round trip. This is an absurd!
1 ★Slow working app. You end up paying more because the app takes forever to lock the car. Deletes your credit cards constantly. Horrible customer service (just one nice guy). Sometimes you arrive to the cars and they are not working so you have to find another available ride which is inconvenient to say the least mainly if you are on the rush.
2 ★The app was very good, then you did an update and since, always crashing, when you start the ride and when you want to stop it, you need to restart the app, and even then, not always working.. And cannot use "Parking mode", like stop-over, because you cannot start the ride back..
1 ★What a waste of time it is... last year they were working on the new app, this year they ARE STILL WORKING WITH ISSUES! This company is a joke, you are much better off renting a clean car for the fraction of cost at any car rental website then their usually dirty cars with app issues (don't even remember last time I managed to open/close the car without the assistance). Avoid if you can or you are better off using public transport- similar reliability for the fraction of cost.
2 ★Extremely unreliable and buggy. Some functions are suddenly not available. Experience included: Uploading damage reports doesn't work Bringing back the active trip doesn't work after switching to the map which then stops you from being able to end the trip or even open the car doors. Unusable Support was ridiculous. They claimed my mobile Internet connection is "not good enough". I have the best possible mobile Internet from Go mobile and can stream movies in HD with it. Stopped using Goto
1 ★I do not recommend to anyone, the application often does not work and can not enter at all or works very slowly and often does not stop you when you finish your journey. Clients are being tricked into making money at their expense, showing in the app that special parking spaces are free, but in reality they are all occupied and I'm 30 minutes looking for a car to park, even though the app shows all parking spaces around me. All cars are in very bad condition, scratched, bumped and dirty.
1 ★I got charged out of the sudden even though I was 100% sure I'm on "Basic plan" with no monthly fee, and no refund policy. Never even get to use the service, just wasted time on registration and money on monthly fee.
