MEJUAH-JUAHSuku Karo adalah suku dataran tinggi Karo dan juga beberapa wilayah Sumatera Utara hingga sebagian Aceh. Bahasa yang digunakan Bahasa Karo atau Cakap Karo dan juga memiliki aksara sendiri. Kerajaan Haru-Karo (Kerajaan Aru) merupakan kerjaan Karo yang sangat terkenal pada abad 1 Masehi yang rajanya bernama "Pa Lagan". Kerajaan Haru-Karo tumbuh dan berkembang bersamaan dengan kerajaan Majapahit, Sriwijaya, Johor, Malaka dan Aceh. Terbukti dari perang antar kerajaan-kerajaan tersebut. Kerajaan Haru pada masa keemasannya, memiliki wilayah dari Aceh Besar hingga ke sungai Siak di Riau.
Merga dalam masyarakat Karo terdiri dari lima kelompok, yang disebut dengan merga silima. Kelima merga tersebut adalah:
1.Karo-karo
2.Tarigan
3.Ginting
4.Sembiring
5.Perangin-angin
Aplikasi Kamus Karo ini berguna untuk menerjemahkan kata-kata dari Bahasa Karo ke Bahasa Indonesia dan sebaliknya dari Bahasa Indonesia ke Bahasa Karo. Terdapat sekitar 7000 kata yang dapat diterjahmahkan dengan kamus ini dan beberapa disertai dengan contoh kalimat dan terjemahannya.
Dalam penggunaan aplikasi ini anda dapat membagikan kata dan terjemahannya kepada orang lain lewat sosial media, sms, email dan juga dapat dicopykan. Aplikasi kamus karo ini berjalan secara offline sehingga dapat digunakan dimana saja tanpa butuh koneksi internet.
