2 ★Forces you to update before you can even use it. Doesn't even give you the option to use it and this really stuffed things up while travelling in a rush where internet reception was spotty. Used to be good but shouldn't force you to update. Too many pop-ups and ads. There's way better options out there now. No dark mode. Far better apps or websites. Deleting this app. Use to like, but gone downhill more bloated with every release!
1 ★I would have rated negative stars if there was a chance...Never ever install this app..They charge extra amount stating that the amount will be transferred quickly but once the amount gets deducted from your account, they will show their true colors. The money will not reach the recipient and you have to constantly contact with customer care and here comes the biggest comedy..the customer service agent always have the same reply "our team is working on it".. But it will never go forward.. worst
1 ★third class app. I can't even send money even after multiple attempts. Tried to transfer via "debit card" to "account" from france to India but no success even after a successful authentication from French account mobile banking app. In the end my account was terminated as a result their own slumber and no reason stated for the termination. I don't know what they'll do to the information provided.
1 ★Everything was going good until I needed to send multiple transactions in a day. Sent money to pay a bill(usually there in minutes) and it got held up. Got an email saying my account was terminated right after. Luckily I got ahold of customer service and he said he would have the termination reversed but the money is still pending hours later. So beware of multiple transactions in a day.
1 ★Worst app for money transfer, my wife transfer money but even after 40hrs recipient didn't receive money. Also she even unable to track her transfer request in app. Also support is very poor, I doubt is anybody looking into mail or not. She send multiple mails to support team but no one take little effort to revert on mail
5 ★All was ok until the app stopped being operational when not connected to the internet. If one is in an exotic area with no access to the net, and wants to check what the local salesman is asking for, then the app is useless... Edit 27/12/2023 Thanks for the update, now it works. Changing my rating to 5 stars
4 ★Great app! I like the converter page, which you can choose multiple currencies at the same time. As a negative or a point to improve for future is to introduce dark mode. Besides that, this app is my top choice
4 ★The app is great! Accurate and quick, wish the widget allowed for rates in real time instead of having to open the app each time.
1 ★Unable to create an account. An error saying I already have an account but when I ask to claim forgotten password for that account, says account doesn't exist. When I try to create an account with a diff email doesn't accept password (despite it fulfilling the requirements. Also unable to see the password when pressing the "see password symbol". Not sure I want to trust my money to this app.
3 ★This app has been great for years, but during a recent trip to Egypt and Saudi, without Internet you are just left with a "Connection Problems" box and the app is unusable. Can't even see old conversion rates. Makes the app completely redundant. Please sort this out XE
1 ★Cancelled my transfer and closed my account without any notice or reason. Suport is absolutely useless. Said verification team could not verify my identity but app never asked any verification documents (which I can provide). Now I am 1500$ short while I wait for them to do something. Been using Remitly for a long time already and decided to try Xe. Big mistake. Strongly recommend using another app for money transfers.
1 ★The app is slower now, the interface is much more cluttered and it doesn't work at all without an online connection (just so they can show ads!), so completely useless when travelling. Basically the app is broken and useless like this for me.
