محمد مع المقفي أحمدا * الحاشر العاقب والماحي الردا
وهو المسمى بنبي الرحمة * في مسلم وبنبي التوبة
وفيه أيضا بنبي الملحمه * وفي رواية نبي المرحمه

والمتوكل النبي الأمي * والرؤف الرحيم أي رحم
وشاهدا مبشرا نذيرا * كذا سراجا صل به منيرا
كذا به المزمل المدثرا * وداعيا لله والمذكرا
ورحمة ونعمة وهادي * وغيرها تجل عن تعداد
وقد وعى ابن العربي سبعه * من بعد ستين وقيل تسعه
من بعد تسعين ولابن دحية * الفحص يوفيها ثلاثمائة
باب ذكر نسبه الزكي الطيب الطاهر
وهو ابن عبد الله عبد المطلب * أبوه وهو شيبة الحمد نسب
أبوه عمرو هاشم والجد * عبد مناف بن قصي زيد
ابن كلاب أي حكيم يا أخي * وهو ابن مرة بن كعب بن لؤي
وهو ابن غالب أي ابن فهر * وهو ابن مالك أي ابن النضر
