kitab-kitab yang dipakai untuk mengajar di Indonesia agar dapat
ditentukan apakah kitab-kitab tersebut sesuai dengan ahlusunnah wal
jama’ah atau tidak. Pemeriksaan inilah yang merupakan inti pekerjaan
Lajnah Bahsul Masail. Kemudian melalui berbagai Madrasah, masjid, surau
dan pondok pesantren kaum ulama menyebarkan hasil pemeriksaan atau
penelitian yang sesuai dengan pandangan mazhab dari kajian Lajnah
Bahsul Masail.
