The official Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS) Android Application is your guide to the Hong Kong International Film Festival(HKIFF), Cine Fan and other HKIFFS programme information and news. It also keeps you abreast of the latest updates of the Festival.HKIFF is one of Asia’s most reputable platforms for filmmakers, film professionals and filmgoers from all over the world to launch new works and experience outstanding films.
Screening over 200 titles from more than 60 countries in 11 major cultural venues across the territory, the Film Festival is Hong Kong’s largest cultural event that reaches an audience of over 600,000.
Financially supported by the Hong Kong Film Development Fund (HKFDF) and organised by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS), the HKIFF Cine Fan Programme was launched in April 2013. With the aim to enrich and deepen the experience of Hong Kong moviegoers, the monthly programme features a variety of curated contemporary, retrospective and thematic showcases. In conjunction with the programme, the HKIFFS has introduced Cine Fan, a special privilege scheme for cineastes to enjoy ticket discounts both for the programme, and also the annual HKIFF, the Summer IFF (SIFF), and other associated programmes.
