Komend jaar zal op 3 februari te Utrecht de 28ste editie van het M.I.C. plaatsvinden met als thema ‘One dollar vs. a million’. Tijdens dit congres zal er ingezoomd worden op de verschillende aspecten van de medische wereld. Zo wordt er gekeken naar twee uitersten: de geneeskunde in ontwikkelingslanden en de technologische vooruitgang in de westerse geneeskunde. Vraagstukken over deze twee ‘typen werelden’ passeren de revue. Denk aan creatieve technieken en instrumenten die gebruikt worden in oorlogsgebieden, of juist tegenover gesteld; aan de nieuwste technieken die men in moderne medische wereld ziet. Er worden verschillende dilemma’s geschetst rondom dit thema waarbij er medici zullen spreken die elk gespecialiseerd op hun eigen vakgebied en bekend in de medische wereld zijn.
