Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Cannot download on Android 14, please fix this. We have paid for these..
1 ★No longer works since I got my new pixel 8
5 ★Best dictionary for me
5 ★I've read some of the reviews here where people are whining about the design and functionality. I'm not sure what they are on about - their old paper dictionaries are waiting for them if this is such a dog 🐕 I think this is magic. Well done. Love it. Yes there will always be stuff that can be better, and I'm sure the developers are on it.
5 ★I paid over $20 for the iPhone version, so the Android version seems like great value, albeit with minor quirks. It is great to be able to check spelling or conjugation rapidly. Def recommended! Updated after 7 years of use. Still a great app!
5 ★User friendly. I find it really easy to swap between languages. Good verb lists nice layout.
5 ★Awesome app!!! Best one by far compared to everything else
5 ★This is a very easy to use reference resource. I use it for help with Spanish and French and is so much more convenient than using a book as it is in my pocket all the time
5 ★Excellent
1 ★I've used this app almost daily for a couple of years. When I tried to move it to my new Pixel 7, it said "incompatible". Ultralingua told me that they don't plan to recompile it for the 64-bit platform. I guess it's easier to abandon paying customers.
