3 ★Overall it's pretty good. I would like the annotation features to be more user-friendly. My main issues with it are: 1) page numbers do not correspond with page numbers in print book. when I want to look up a quote from a different work I cannot find the page number so it takes me awhile to find the quote in the app. 2) I would like to be able to organize my library into collections instead of having to search through my entire library for a certain topic.
2 ★The "improved" audio playback seems like a setback not an improvement. Book position won't sync and often resets between listening sessions. Download all took multiple tries to actually get the whole book for offline reading. The main play button always restarts at the beginning of a chapter regardless of where I left off listening.
5 ★I love Deserve Bookshelf unfortunately I don't read as many books on there as I should but I live all the church books you can read especially when you have the plus thing it gives you more books to read and listen to.
2 ★Slow, unintuitive set up. The footnotes are hard to find, the way it numbers the pages is nonsensical, and bookmarking rarely works. I should be able to find parts of the book based off of the page numbers in the physical copy but I can't. Overall, I'm underwhelmed
1 ★Horrible for audiobooks. Always jumping back to the beginning of the chapter. Bluetooth functions don't work. If I pause the book with bluetooth I have to start it with my phone, so frustrating especially when driving.
5 ★We love Deseret Bookshelf with a Plus subscription. The App itself is pretty good. My wife uses this app all the time. Of all the premium services available, this is are favorite.
1 ★Been trying for 6 hours to download app. Ive download three others no problems.? This is very frustrating
3 ★There needs to be a version of this app on the Microsoft Store so that I can read my ebooks on my computer and not on my smaller phone screen. It won't let me see my ebooks from my computer.
2 ★I signed up for the service and immediately downloaded the app. After logging out and back in, clearing data and even re-downloading the app, it still says that I am a non-paying customer. As a professional software developer myself, I can say that an app like this should work immediately upon subscription. This is not an acceptable problem to be encountering.
2 ★A very difficult eReader to use. The app always goes back to the beginning of a chapter no matter where in the chapter you left off. It forces you to bookmark every time you stop reading so that you can find your place. The audio is even worse. It also does not remember where in a chapter you left off. In addition, it stops at the end of every chapter so that you have to re-start the audio player all the time. You have to continuously take your eyes off the road when driving. Very dangerous.,
2 ★I love being able to listen to quality books, BUT this app itself drives me crazy. I wish they would make it more user friendly. Considering this app is not free, I would hope it gets upgraded soon so that it actually works consistently. I tried opening a book today and it says "downloading manifest data," but I can't open the book to listen. I tried...for a half hour. Sometimes when we are using the app when we are driving places, if I am using other apps, the Bookshelf Plus app will glitch and either skip ahead or go back to a previous chapter. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!
1 ★Suddenly broken. Nothing plays. Paying for plus subscription for nothing I guess. Fix it quick. Using new Pixel 4a, not old phone.
