A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Pushed out an update that broke push notifications that reminded you of surveys & your streak ended. They also had downtime that didn't allow you to do any surveys, thus resetting your streak. 330 day streak gone because of developer error. Edit: The developers reached out to me and restored my streak and apologized for the issues. They were quick to respond and I'll be using the app again. Hopefully they add more prizes, though.
1 ★Pretty disappointed with this app now. Same complaints as all the others. Currently at a 235 day streak and that was after one 100+ one before that. Was shooting for the top prize and now that's gone along with any other decent ones. It's pretty insulting to college students (who are normally broke) to expect them to work with providing you valuable data with the promise of decent prizes only to now have nothing but raffles, donations & the only physical prize of a t-shirt that is out of stock.
1 ★I have been loyally using this app for about 5 months in the hopes of saving up for a good prize. However, they removed all of the decent rewards. By the time I had enough points to get something besides a coupon, those prizes were out of stock, and they were never restocked. Very disappointed considering how much work I and other users have put into keeping up a streak. TL;DR it's entertaining, but don't bother with this app if you're in it for the rewards.
2 ★The prizes at the moment aren't worth the time that goes into this app. Physical prizes seem to be what people want, so how about bringing those back? I'm almost afraid if you did bring any back though, all the users that have saved up waiting for something more than coupons will jump on those and they'll be gone again.
1 ★EDIT: Pulse's response that they are constantly adding new rewards is not just misleading, it is utterly and demonstrably false. Since Pulse made that reaponse 7 months ago, they have not added a eingle new reward. Please do not lie to me again. Definitely don't use the app for the rewards. its all auction based, and the prizes are pretty much meaningless now. Really wish they would return to the old way of letting you buy rewards with points!
1 ★I used this app for 130 consecutive days Amassed a very large amount of points, but over that period nearly all of the expensive rewards disappeared completely. Now the reward store is almost empty save for small items and donation coupons. I attempted to claim $5 in Bitcoin through the Ben app, and the coupon was not valid. That reward listing then disappeared. Unless you are legitimately interested in college surveys and user-submitted statistics, this app is almost certainly a waste of time.
2 ★I used this app daily for over a month. On the last update I stopped receiving notifications of new daily quizzes. I lost my huge streak and have hardly used the app since the update - since I'm no longer reminded to use it. I'm not sure why notifications were removed but it's definitely caused you to at least lose one user.
1 ★I like taking the surveys. However, as everyone else has said, the good rewards are now gone as people were finally saving enough points for them. The sweepstakes approach is unfair because it was not the original incentive when the app was first developed, and why lose points if you enter and don't win?
1 ★The questions on this app are always skewed to the left. Questions that don't agree with their views are never asked. The staff do not answer emails and they are now collecting data for free since they do not offer prizes anymore. The app did not function for an entire day and I lost my nearly a year streak. Do not waste your time with this app.
1 ★Early stages of this app consisted of new and enjoyable surveys. While logging in each day also would grant you a surmount of extra points. Which were also redeemable for rewards. Then Pulse went over the edge. They started recycling new polls, especially those towards the left's political views, and they started taking every good reward off the store. There was no longer any reason for the app. College Pulse basically shot themselves over and over and over again in the foot.
3 ★I really like using this app and have been saving up points for awhile. The surveys can be fairly interesting. I finally tried to claim a reward but it says something about a business claiming it and I am quite confused. I wish I could find out how to redeem my rewards so I don't feel like I wasted my time.
3 ★This app is OK. You get points for answering questions, and you get to see other college student's answers. Although there were once good rewards, most of those have been taken out. Also, the notification icon for newer devices shows as a blank square instead of the pulse icon.
