1 ★Defected from Zwift but this is worse. The app is not optimised for phone or tablet use. Buttons are small & close together which means leading to the wrong selection. The actual cycling aspect should be good with video and/or 3D generated options. This is marred by lack of smooth transitions with gradients. I run a Wahoo Kickr & this has no issues in Zwift even on 100% simulation; here the gradients hit you hard & it is easy to grind to a halt. I am afraid the free trial is over in 2 hours.
5 ★I ended up using it while searching for Zwift alternatives. Zwift seemed so messy, full with unnecessary things. Bkool is clear, pairing sensors works smoothly and the apps remembers them. Data is simple and concise, showing live and average info. Animations, video footage and maps are great. There are a lot of real life rides to try. Don't have smart rollers or simply dislike slopes? Don't want wind or weather? Would rather ride alone? This and more can be changed. You even have a 30day trial.
1 ★A total scam. They want credit card info to even try the thing. They won't let you delete your profile. Spam forever. Avoid at all cost!
1 ★App used to work when connected to chromecast, but now it keeps crashing, and when it does work it has about a 10 second delay before anything happens on screen. Have the same trouble if i connect phone to the tv with hdmi cable. It used to work but now it does not. Going to cancel subscription as it not worth paying for.
1 ★Apparently this app is supposed to work with classic trainers with sensors, mine is a listed device (you know for those people that don't have £600 to drop on a smart trainer). It doesn't. Multiple different apps will pick up my cadence and speed in set gears as 10mph-ish. This says I was doing 2.4mph then all the of a sudden I was doing 16mph. I'm using a cadence, speed and hrm sensors. This was while on an incline according to the display.
1 ★Updated: app was a complete mess, but you could do rides and record. Newly updated with the promise of a lot of fixes; now app will not open at all. I have reinstalled, restarted etc, no joy. This company are having real problems with their app developers and it needs to be sorted. I am waiting until the end of the week and then terminating my premium service if its not fixed.
4 ★Last year I dabbled with this but my Laptop wasn't up to it. And for 3D it seems rather demanding. So I used Zwift instead. This year I have a much more powerful laptop and it runs great and connected flawlessly to my Tacx trainer. No issues. I initially tried Zwift but it it didn't connect so I couldn't be bothered messing with it and signed up for Bkool instead.
1 ★Finally given up on Bkool and will be going to Zwift. After recent update it doesn't work on galaxy s10 with Android 9. The app just crashes without starting. On the PC it works but after the recent update on Windows 10 the power from a Bkool classic aren't working and it just shows 500 Watts, I wish! Also the training peaks integration is rubbish and non sensical. Zwift just seems much easier & integrates great with TP. Shame as it could be fantastic, just poor execution and slow to update.
3 ★I cannot make an account as it does not accept my email. Update: account issues solved. I will update my rating in couple of weeks after using the app.
2 ★I had this app on my mobile and it working ok (ish) It constantly lost connection with my Elite turbo so I often had to log out of the app and then back into the app. I am not sure what the issue was. It then failed to work completely. I removed the app and reloaded it. This was a mistake as I cannot load the app now (might be my phone I am not sure?) When the app works, it is a good system, just a shame that it didn't work on the mobile (unfortunately I don't have a new enough tablet to use)
1 ★Used to be decent. I invested in their Bkool smart Pro unit a few years ago but the app is not responsive and crashes pretty much every time I use it... and that is when I am able to connect/find the trainer in the first place! Extremely frustrated by the lack of customer support too
1 ★Constantly freezing and crashing on android last few days and won't even let me get to login screen. Uninstalled and installed several times so expecting refund for a paid subscription thay can't even be used at the moment! Had previously worked on exact same phone and same settings and without phone being updated in interim so something up on bkool side ...
