Still Riding is another application that allows the sending of an SMS containing a URL to a map showing your location.It can be used to keep in contact with someone while you are out on a ride so they know you are ok but without the hassle of entering a text message.
Still Riding was written specifically for use by cyclists - hence the really big send button.
Just configure a phone number to send your sms to. Then on your journey just tap the send button and the recipient will receive a text containing a link to a map showing where you are.
