Description

AudioNotch's mobile app allows you to create and listen to Notched Sound Therapy that has been customized for your particular tinnitus frequency.

Tinnitus is the perception of sound in the absence of any external environmental sound. It affects millions of people worldwide, and usually presents as a persistent ringing in the ears. (4)

Notched Sound Therapy is a tinnitus treatment that can lower the volume of your tinnitus tone. It is created by taking either music or "white noise" and removing the sound energy—"notching it out"—at the same frequency of your tinnitus tone. (2) In some experiments, tinnitus volume was reduced by 75%, 26%, and 20%, respectively. (1,2,3)

FEATURES INCLUDE:
- The ability to match your tinnitus frequency using our tinnitus tuner (free, does not require an account)
- The ability to create Notched Sound Therapy customized for your particular tinnitus frequency (requires paid account)*
- The ability to listen to Notched Sound Therapy (requires paid account)

A paid AudioNotch account gives you full access to our mobile app and our web app. Through our web app, you can create and listen to the same Notched Sound Therapy audio files online.

*Notched White Noise and Notched Natural sounds can be created directly in the mobile app. However, creating Notched Music requires the usage of our web application on a computer (access to this is provided with the same paid account). Notched Music created via a computer can be listened to on the mobile app.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Pretty good. Only been using it for a couple of days but I feel like it is helping. Though the app does crash every now and then when switching between apps. Also need to work on the UI for sound selection. I don't want to scroll a massive list. Would be nice if you could convert songs on the device itself too instead of relying on the Web app
1 ★This app is bait to sign you up for an account, after which the price for service will be disclosed. I don't like this deceptive type of business model and do not wish to support this developer. Uninstalling.
1 ★Free app, no trial, but instantly demands money? No. How do you manage to be more annoying than my tinnitus?
1 ★bait and switch.. no functionality without a paid account
1 ★Does not work.
5 ★I have to say I think among the tinnitus app I've tried, this one seems to be the most functional and actually follows the real research that's out there (if you look closely there's been updates to the actual sound processing algorithm used) as opposed to the simple octave notches alone.
2 ★App will not let you tune files on phone. Will play download ones you have created on pc before hand. Expensive for what it claims, nothing you can not do with free apps.
5 ★easy to use, care put into making it.. can tell they have the customer / patient in mind
2 ★Did nothing for me...... difficult to convert files.....relatively expensive compared to other apps.
5 ★Instructions were easy to follow and allowed you to truly customize your own therapy!
1 ★Keeps crashing !
